The Aerospace Research Students Symposium (AERES) is an annual event organized by the research students of the Aerospace Department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Designed to foster innovation and collaboration, AERES serves as a premier platform where MTech and PhD students from IISc and other leading institutes showcase their cutting-edge research in the aerospace field.

AERES '24 Overview
The AERES '24 symposium, held from January 3rd to 6th, 2024, was a remarkable event that brought together young researchers in the aerospace field. Sponsored by DRDO, Honeywell, BISS, and Imaginarium, this four gathering featured 49 oral presentations and 12 informative posters, showcasing innovative ideas from research students across various disciplines. Attendees benefited from a half-day workshop led by ANSYS and inspiring keynote speeches from industry leaders at ISRO, BrahMos, and Ather. Overall, the symposium was a fantastic platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing in aerospace research.
